IF Duet - Flight of The Conchords

For this weeks illustration friday the word was "duet" I decided to do a picture of my favourite singing duet the "Flight of the Conchords."

IF Toy

This is the image I made for illustration friday for the word "Toy".



For this word I didn't want to do something that would come to your mind instantly. I decided to go with this image because I thought that it was fun and flirty.I also thought it would be nice to do it in only black and white with a pop of colour. Completely done using photoshop.

IF Cultivate

For the word cultivate I decided to design a picture for the occult classic "Little Shop of Horrors"



For the word cultivate I turned to my favourite man eating plant for inspiration. I wanted to produce a vintage looking image for this 1986 movie, so I only used 3 colours in this design and instead of using vibrant colours I faded them down. If you haven't seen this movie you should
definitely give it a look. Hope you like it :)

IF Stir

This is the image that I produced for illustration friday for the word stir



For this word i actually re-used another project that I had perviously done. I had previously created this character for a cereal box and I thought he suited the word so I used him.

Anti Corporation Bansky Inspired

This is a project I did where I took a picture of a wall and through photoshop digitally added graffiti which was Bansky inspired. It is a message speaking out again huge corporations such as Disney which implements certain ideas into children's minds; such as body image. Hope you like it :)

IF Warning -Beware of Dog



I had trouble coming up with a concept for the word warning, but I ended up coming up with beware of dog.

IF-Layers



This is my Illustration Friday for the word Layers I first stared with the skeleton which is the main layer of the human body that houses organs and gives the body shape, I then thought of how they use different layers to create the 3D effect.

International Women's Day ; Kat Von D

This is my poster for International Women's Day it features the tattoo artist Kat Von D



For this project I first drew Kat Von D using pencil crayon and ink I then photographed that image and edited the rest in photoshop. The border post-its and type were all added in photoshop.

This is my piece for Illustration Friday this week it's based around the word reverse this was the first thing that popped into my head when I thought of that word, and I find it quite suitable.

This is an illustration for illustration friday based on the word surrender. When I thought of the word my mind kept bringing me back to images of the army so thats what I based this around.

Kat Von D for International Womens Day

This is an a picture of Kat Von D that I drew using pencil crayon and ink for the 100th International Women's Day.



Kat Von D has been a huge inspiration to me as she is an established artist and has done a lot of charity work.

IF - Dusty

This is Dusty he sits in an old dusty house awaiting his long lost love bunny to return home, he doesnt understand that she was picked up by a vacuum cleaner and isn't coming back.

The idea for this character came from dust which is just layers of tiny little paticles; So I stippled layers of colours on this munny doll, then took a photo dropped it into photoshop and made a dirty dusty layer on top.
